General Leonard E. Wood American Legion Post 162
On October 27th 2010 presented a $ 5,000 check - one of the "big size" copies- to Paramus Veterans Home for use in furnishings for their new Multi Purpose room which is currently under construction. The funds are from Post 162's successful Poppy Drive earlier this year. The Paramus Vet Home,. which is a New Jersey state facility, provides care and rooms for 336 veterans. . With the construction of the new multi-purpose room there will soon be a modern facility with the latest in Audio Visual equipment where community activities such as regular Bingo games can be easily held. Post 162 is proud to be able to contribute to this facility for our vets."
